On Wenceslas Square about Wenceslas Square
09.10.08 09:47Wenceslas Square, the most well-known square of Prague by the tourist, has been a very important place for the citizens in the last centuries. There were national celebrations and history changing protest held here, but it is the scene of every-day life of the ordinary people living in Prague as well.
At this photography exhibition about the famous square in the centre of Prague you can see the history of this important place trough the lenses of the photographer Mr William Kropp. "His wonderful, sometimes humorous and sometimes nostalgic or poetic observations give us the opportunity to look "behind the scenes" of history, to see ordinary people, absorbed in their own worries and joys — but nonetheless continuously confronted with great events".
The exhibition can be found in the gallery tent on the Mustek, is open every day from 10 am to 10pm and the entry is free of charge.
