Prague is a very charming city. Now when it is getting cold, people are trying to find some places with a special atmosphere, where they can hide from nasty weather and get a class of warming mulled wine.

 
One of such places is Jazz Dock. Although it is opened all year round, now it is getting especially cozy. This cafe is situated just on Vltava river. Yes, the building with a small summer terrace stands just on the water near Jiraskuv Bridge on the Janackovo nabrezi st.
Almost every day the concert of Jazz bands and Blues singers are held. Moreover, sometimes even two or three concerts per day are performed.  The price is very attractive: for normal concerts it is 90 – 150,- CZK. Approx. 3.5 – 6.5 euros. Tickets for the concerts of the special guests are a bit more expensive and cost about 250 – 450,- CZK. Approx. 11 – 19 euros. Student discounts are offered as well. They also have special concerts for children, which are held once a week. Entrance fee is about 90,- CZK.
 
 
The interior is just amazing! The mix of colors: yellow, pink and dark colors, is very impressive! However there are not that many tables in this cafe. So if you really want to visit a concert, make sure that you have reserved the tickets and a table in advance.

The menu in Jazz Dock is not really full of diversity. However you can find here one of the best ice cream in Prague: one ball costs only 20,- CZK (approx. 1 euro) and is super-delicious! There are several kinds: vanilla, chocolate, cherry, strawberry and others. Ice cream really contains parts of chocolate and fruits. One of the new deserts is Baked Pineapple  - Delicious taste of baked pineapple with butter sauce is completed by vanilla ice cream  - it costs only 65, - CZK. Also there is a wide range of sandwiches and appetizers.
They also have hot drinks, alcohol and non-alcohol drinks. For example you can taste Prague mulled wine for 55,-CZK or drink a New York Classic cocktail for 155,-CZK. There is a wide range of wine. You can buy it in a bottle or by glass.

New Year's Eve and New Year at Jazz Dock. There will be provided great musical entertainment for the guests - jazz, blues, funky and acid jazz until dawn. Special New Year's Eve concert - the energy and grooves with a leading Czech blues guitarist Lukáš Martinek and mouth organ player, singer Ondřej Konrád and a band Permofming Tomatoes playing cover versions of famous jazz and rock songs . In the entrance fee is included some snacks and a midnight drink.
Entrance fee CZK 690 jun/sen CZK 550.
